Since 2006, we have incorporated 60 hybrid medium-duty hydraulic trucks into the mobile fleet. As our work force needs changed, we are also adjusting our mobile fleet needs. We will continue to place more of these trucks into service for the model year 2011 to meet our NSR commitment. 

We are improving the efficiency of our water vessels, both to save money and reduce our environmental impacts. We placed seven new towboats into service and repowered three boats with engines that meet Tier II air quality standards. The Tier II engines reduce fuel consumption by approximately 5 percent and particulate matter emissions by approximately 50 percent. These vessels not only improve performance, they also enhance crew comfort.
